Co-design in the DiDIY scenario

This toolkit has been specifically created to provide support to people who generate innovative solutions in their professional field, applying the core features of Digital DIY. The toolkit provides a guide to the strategic application of a design approach to the use of digital production and sharing technologies, thus becoming a means to activate new opportunities and innovative ideas.
Co-design helps people to work in collaboration, triggering their creativity and improving their visions of possible futures. The toolkit does not offer solutions. On the contrary, it offers creative techniques, methods, suggestions and tools to guide everyone through a design process that enables the creation and implementation of solutions.

The guidelines include suggestions and instructions for setting up the co-design session and how to use the tools to activate participants and facilitate the session.
This particular co-design process guides the development of ideas or strategies through Digital DIY. The process is divided into four main steps: Immerse, Define, Ideate and Build to Think.
The toolkit contains all the techniques and tools to perform during process activities. Download the specific tools for each area of the process.
The Design Tool Collection gathers a series of tools and techniques existing in co-design, Design Thinking and more generally in Participatory Design. It is an open database of tools for DiDIYer, designers, facilitators, etc. that can be used in the digital DIY sector during project development.
