Tatiana Efremenko

Expert in Urban Foresight
Tatiana is a PhD candidate in Design at Politecnico di Milano and research fellow at IDEActivity. She holds a BA in Anthropology and MSc in Urban Studies from . Before she has worked in Denmark as a project coordinator at the art space on social integration of migrants through urban and art projects, at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies on developing future-proof strategies for companies and organizations, and later in the startup helping SMEs to integrate circular economy principles in their business models.
In her PhD, she explores how design foresight and design futures can help people to envision the future of the urban spaces to shape just and sustainable urban transitions. At IDEAactivity she collaborates on MUSAE project (Horizon Europe). She is also a research fellow at Social Innovation Lab Kyrgyzstan (SILK), where she has developed a methodology to measure social capital index in urban spaces which has been implemented on the city scale.
